Moshe Landman

I · U.S. House, MD-6 · Tier 3

Tier 3, “Pro-Israel, critical”

Position

In a January 2026 episode of his campaign podcast on YouTube he calls for “an immediate and permanent ceasefire,” aid to Gaza “flowing freely and without obstruction” and an end to the occupation, says the U.S. is perpetuating the conflict with “Lots of weapons going over there” and that “we must advocate for policies that condition aid to uphold human rights and international law,” and says of the killing in Gaza “Many of them may be war crimes” but “I don’t think it’s genocide.” A Wheaton-raised attorney and businessman and repeat Green Party candidate, he runs on climate, universal healthcare and deep cuts to military spending; his campaign site and Ballotpedia surveys mention Israel only in passing (its desalination plants and multiparty system, and his own time there), with nothing on Gaza, military aid or Palestinian rights.

Why this tier

A 3, resting on one January 2026 episode of his campaign podcast. He calls for “an immediate and permanent ceasefire,” aid to Gaza “flowing freely and without obstruction” and an end to the occupation, faults the U.S. for perpetuating the conflict (“Lots of weapons going over there”), and says “we must advocate for policies that condition aid to uphold human rights and international law.” That ties aid to Israel’s conduct in his own words, with no call to end aid or stop the weapons. He denies the genocide: of the killing in Gaza, “Many of them may be war crimes,” but “I don’t think it’s genocide.” His site and Ballotpedia surveys say nothing on Gaza or military aid; the Green Party text there to “prohibit all arms sales to foreign nations” names no country. Counter-cases: 2/3, since he also stresses Israel’s security concerns, called Israel “a masterclass in active adaptation” in March 2026 and said in May 2023 that it still needed U.S. military equipment; or 3/4, since he faults the flow of U.S. weapons and wants the occupation ended.
