Natalie Fleming
I · U.S. Senate, Idaho · Tier 3
Tier 3, “Pro-Israel, critical”
A rancher's daughter and IT professional, she runs as an independent on homeownership, limits on mass surveillance, land and water-cycle restoration, a localized food supply and immigration reform, arguing partly from scripture. Asked in iVoterGuide’s 2026 general-election questionnaire whether the U.S. relationship with Israel is important, Fleming answered: “Israelis and Palestinians are all children of God, and that alone means both deserve dignity and security. October 7th was a horrific atrocity, and Israel response has committed horrific violations. Palestinians want to stay on their land instead of forced removal dressed as voluntary emigration, rebuild what's destroyed, and finally vote again after twenty years. A real ally tells the truth in both directions. We must remember our common humanity/”.
A 3, on a thin record: one questionnaire answer and one forum remark. Asked by iVoterGuide in 2026 whether the U.S. relationship with Israel is important, Fleming wrote that “Israelis and Palestinians are all children of God,” called October 7 “a horrific atrocity” and said that “Israel response has committed horrific violations,” and backed Palestinians who “want to stay on their land instead of forced removal dressed as voluntary emigration.” That is criticism of the war’s conduct and of expulsion. At a Sept 30, 2026 Senate forum in Caldwell, by the Idaho Capital Sun’s account, she cited U.S. military support for Israel against Iran and Palestine and said “We have become the aggressors overseas” and that “it is Congress’s role to stop this” — the nearest she comes to a step on aid or weapons, with no stated pledge to end or condition them. Her campaign site (home, about, issues, policy pages) and her 2026 Ballotpedia survey contain no foreign-policy content beyond childhood memories of the Iran hostage crisis. Counter-cases: 3/4, reading “forced removal dressed as voluntary emigration” as naming ethnic cleansing; 2/3, reading the even-handed frame as decisive.
