Tier 1, “Firmly pro-Israel”
A reliable pro-Israel Republican who voted for all three 2023–24 Israel aid bills and says he will always stand with Israel to eradicate Hamas, and co-signed a NY-GOP statement condemning Democrats who voted against Israel aid — and wrote a campus crackdown bill, the Veto Your Visas Act (July 2024, reintroduced March 2025), to revoke the visas of students who support a designated terrorist group such as Hamas, pitched against “the riots at Columbia University.” He was an original cosponsor of H.R.8369 (May 14, 2024), the bill to force delivery of the bombs Biden paused, and voted for it. In January 2024 he signed the Smith–Manning letter, whose signers “thoroughly reject” South Africa’s “charge of genocide” against Israel.
A 1. Langworthy wrote a campus crackdown bill twice: the Veto Your Visas Act (H.R.9158, July 2024; H.R.2204, March 2025) would revoke the visas of students who support a designated terrorist group such as Hamas, and he introduced it against “the riots at Columbia University,” the protests against the genocide. His other Israel acts line up behind it: an original cosponsorship of the May 2024 bill forcing delivery of the bombs Biden paused, a release calling that hold “an outright betrayal of our ally,” the Smith–Manning letter rejecting South Africa’s genocide charge, and a vote for every tracked Israel measure he was present for. His support is unconditional (“always stand with Israel,” “eradicate Hamas”), with no concern for Palestinian civilians in his own words. Across the 2022, 2024 and 2026 cycles, $101,016 has reached him through AIPAC’s PAC (direct and earmarked). Counter-case: a 1/2, since it is an immigration bill keyed to support for terrorist groups, it drew eight cosponsors each time, and neither version left committee.
