Tier 3/4, between “Pro-Israel, critical” and “Critical / conditions aid”
Lost the Aug 4, 2026 VA-2 Democratic primary to Elaine Luria. Own issues page: “Support Palestinian human rights, dignity, freedom, and an end to the occupation and genocide in Gaza and the West Bank,” and “Reject AIPAC donations.” Endorsed by USCPR Action.
A 3/4, on a thin record: two planks on her campaign’s issues page. She names the occupation and the genocide together and extends both to the West Bank, calling for “an end to the occupation and genocide in Gaza and the West Bank” — a structural rather than purely humanitarian frame — and the same page pledges to “Reject AIPAC donations.” But her plan stops at “diplomacy, humanitarian protection, and a foreign policy grounded in human rights”: no step of her own to withhold weapons, end military aid or embargo arms. Counter-case: a 4, if pairing the occupation with the genocide, in the West Bank as well as Gaza, is read as more than naming the genocide.
