Tier 5/6, between “Critical on most positions” and “Most critical of Israel / supports Palestine”

Position

Lost the Aug 18, 2026 Democratic primary in the newly drawn FL-25 to Jared Moskowitz. In his own words on USCPR Action’s endorsement page: “I will support Rep. Delia Ramirez’s Block The Bombs Act and a full embargo on Israel… stand up against genocide, apartheid, and to follow international law.” Endorsed by USCPR Action, Track AIPAC, and national DSA — its first federal endorsement of the cycle.

Why this tier

A 5/6 on a full embargo stated by name. He commits to Block the Bombs and then goes past it to “a full embargo on Israel,” and pairs that with genocide and apartheid in the same sentence — a full embargo is itself the Tier 5 position. National DSA’s first federal endorsement of the cycle and a USCPR Action endorsement, whose criteria include supporting BDS, both corroborate. His own campaign site — not endorser copy, not a cosponsorship — carries a full platform on Israel and Palestine: the genocide named on the authority of Amnesty International, Human Rights Watch and the UN; Block the Bombs; suspension of military aid under the Leahy Law; and an explicit demand for “recognition of Palestinian refugees’ right to return and achieve self-determination,” a position questioning Israel’s legitimacy as a Jewish state. He draws an explicit line against antisemitism, calling it “intolerable” to hold Jewish communities responsible for the Israeli government. He opposes Zionism by name: in a February 2026 campaign release he said he had “protested beside Miamians of all faiths for a free Palestine against Zionism, genocide, and apartheid.” What holds him short of a flat 6 is that this rests on a single line and BDS appears nowhere on his own campaign site.
