I · U.S. House, KY-6 · Tier 4/5

Tier 4/5, between “Critical / conditions aid” and “Critical on most positions”

Position

University of Kentucky political science lecturer running on the new Kentucky Party line, with campaign-finance reform as his first issue. His campaign's policy page says “Stop funding Israel's military” and would make lobbyists for foreign countries register under FARA; his 2026 Ballotpedia survey lists “cutting ties with (and funding for) Israel” and “ending our endless wars on behalf of Israel” among his priorities, and his September 2026 campaign newsletter lists “ending all aid for Israel” and calls his Republican opponent “AIPAC Alvarado.” In a July 2025 Substack post he wrote of “Israel’s genocidal response towards Palestinians” and called AIPAC a group “that supports the country committing genocide against Palestinians.”

Why this tier

A 4/5, at the edge of 5. He would end all U.S. aid to Israel, its military included, with no carve-out for defensive systems, and he names the genocide in his own voice — and he has made the aid pledge repeatedly, across his platform, survey and campaign newsletter, and named the genocide in writing in 2025, so this is not a one-off pledge. What holds it short of a clean 5 is that he speaks of funding and aid rather than an embargo on arms sales; “cutting ties with” Israel points further but is not spelled out. No anti-Zionist, BDS or right-of-return position, so nothing toward Tier 6.
