Tier 4, “Critical / conditions aid”

Position

Her campaign’s September 12, 2026 foreign-policy agenda says “Israel has committed a genocide in Gaza,” pledges “I will vote against all unconditional military aid that enables the loss of civilian life; aid must be tied to strict adherence to human rights standards and international law,” backs “an immediate and permanent ceasefire” and the ICC arrest warrants for Netanyahu, calls for illegal settlements to be sanctioned and Palestine recognized as a sovereign nation, and pledges “never to take a dime from the Israel Lobby or AIPAC.” A McAllen-born marketing director and veterans’ and immigrants’ advocate making a second run for the seat, she campaigns on tax reform, economic diversification, coastal restoration, criminal-justice reform and education funding. In October 2026 campaign posts she wrote that the incumbent, Rep. Clay Higgins, “could not say if he swears his allegiance to Israel or the United States of America” and pointed to his “loyalty as to Israel.”

Why this tier

A 4, on a thin record: one written agenda, posted on her campaign site on September 12, 2026. She names the genocide in her own voice — “Israel has committed a genocide in Gaza” — and pairs it with a pledge: “I will vote against all unconditional military aid that enables the loss of civilian life; aid must be tied to strict adherence to human rights standards and international law.” She backs an immediate and permanent ceasefire, the ICC arrest warrants for Netanyahu and Gallant, sanctions on illegal settlements and recognition of Palestine, and pledges “never to take a dime from the Israel Lobby or AIPAC.” What holds her short of 4/5 is that the pledge conditions U.S. military aid on human rights and international law rather than ending it, and nothing earlier stands behind the agenda: her issues page and her 2024 Ballotpedia survey say nothing on Israel. Counter-case: 3/4, since the agenda is a single statement.
