Randall Arrington
R · U.S. House, LA-1 · not rated
Asked in his 2026 iVoterGuide questionnaire whether the U.S. relationship with Israel is important, he answered: “Yes because they are our only Allie in the Middle East” (in 2024: “Yes because Israel is the only Democratic government in the Middle East region”). A retired Navy attack pilot, federal law-enforcement officer and political-science lecturer making his second run against Steve Scalise, he names “Marxism and Radical Islam” as the nation’s biggest threats and says tax dollars should not be “sent to foreign nations to solve their problems or fund their wars.”
Not rated: his only foreign-aid stance is blanket — no tax money “sent to foreign nations” to “fund their wars” — and says nothing about Israel itself; nothing in his Ballotpedia surveys (House and Senate runs) addresses Israel, Gaza or Palestine, and he has no campaign website. His iVoterGuide answers on Israel (2024 and 2026) call it “our only Allie in the Middle East” and “the only Democratic government in the Middle East region,” and say nothing about aid, weapons or Gaza.
