Robert Luffman

I · U.S. House, NC-5 · not rated

Position

No documented position on Israel, Gaza or Palestine found. A western North Carolina transportation worker running on congressional term limits, immigration reform and marijuana legalization; asked about foreign policy by the state Libertarian Party, he said “Endless wars do not constitute good foreign policy,” naming no country. In a May 2026 campaign video he says he does not want to ask AIPAC, the NRA or the Libertarian Party for money.

Why not rated

Not rated: his foreign-policy words, a general call to fix problems at home before “any more foreign policy” and a complaint that the U.S. pays for Europe’s defense, say nothing about Israel. Checked his 2025 Ballotpedia survey, his LPNC candidate Q&A, his campaign site and its May 2026 video, and his 2026 iVoterGuide questionnaire (unanswered). Unrated until there is a statement on Israel itself.
