Tier 5, “Critical on most positions”
He is a retired Army veteran (21 years, three combat tours) and writer. His April 2026 position paper says “Robert People will vote to stop American arms shipments to Israel” and “American politicians should stop supporting Israel and Israel’s wars,” his platform says “Robert will NOT support Israel's GENOCIDE against the people of Palestine” (pledging “NO further arms being sent to Israel under this administration”), and he told the Citrus County Chronicle “I oppose additional U.S. military aid to Israel.” He refuses AIPAC money “either directly or through intermediary/bundling methods”; Track AIPAC endorses him.
A 5. He would deny Israel weapons in his own words and has said so in more than one place: “Robert People will vote to stop American arms shipments to Israel” (April 2026 position paper), “NO further arms being sent to Israel under this administration” (platform), and “I oppose additional U.S. military aid to Israel” (Citrus County Chronicle), with the genocide named (“Robert will NOT support Israel's GENOCIDE against the people of Palestine”). The arms pledge carves out nothing, and its time limit is a condition for lifting it. His paper stops short of questioning Israel’s legitimacy: it speaks of “ethnic cleansing campaigns to establish and expand Israeli territory” over eighty years, recounts the Nakba and faults Israel’s “apartheid-style” founding government for not letting the refugees return, but it says “Supporting Israel’s sovereignty as a country does not mean unquestioning allegiance to their actions” and makes no BDS or right-of-return demand. Counter-case: 4/5, on a first-time candidate’s single campaign, with the arms pledge tied to one administration.
