Spencer Meline
R · U.S. House, WA-8 · Tier 1/2
Tier 1/2, between “Firmly pro-Israel” and “Mainstream pro-Israel”
In his 2026 general-election iVoterGuide questionnaire he wrote: “Israel is America’s strongest and most reliable ally in the Middle East. It is the only true democracy in the region, and serves as a vital strategic partner against terrorism and threats from Iran and the Chinese Communist Party”. A Leavenworth small-business owner from Cashmere challenging Rep. Kim Schrier, he runs on small business, congressional term limits and a stock-trading ban, housing costs, wildfire and forest management, health care and AI.
A 1/2, on a thin record: one questionnaire answer. Asked by iVoterGuide in 2026 whether the U.S. relationship with Israel is important, Meline called Israel “America’s strongest and most reliable ally in the Middle East.” That is unqualified support, with nothing on aid, weapons, Gaza or Palestinian civilians. His 2026 Ballotpedia survey and his campaign Vision & Priorities page contain nothing on Israel, Gaza, foreign aid or antisemitism. There is no leadership on the issue: no vote, bill or other act on Israel is on record. Counter-case: unrated until he says more.
