Tier 1/2, between “Firmly pro-Israel” and “Mainstream pro-Israel”
Tells iVoterGuide, “I am an unabashed supporter of Israel. It is our duty as Christians to support the Jewish State, its security and its fight against Islamist terrorist.” He adds that “Israel fights its own wars and defends itself with skill and resolve — and when our interests align, Israel and America stand shoulder to shoulder,” and that he “will always support Israel’s right to defend itself and strengthen that alliance.” Chief operating officer of his family's Delta College until 2025 and a Baptist deacon, he runs as a MAGA loyalist on abortion, the border wall, the SAVE America Act, guns and cryptocurrency; his issues page opens with a pledge to “censure and strip committee assignments from any member who supports terrorist organizations.”
A 1/2, on a thin record: one questionnaire answer. Asked by iVoterGuide in 2026 whether the U.S. relationship with Israel is important, he wrote: “I am an unabashed supporter of Israel. It is our duty as Christians to support the Jewish State, its security and its fight against Islamist terrorist,” and said he “will always support Israel’s right to defend itself and strengthen that alliance.” That is firm support, with no word on Gaza’s civilians, military aid or Israel’s conduct. His campaign site never mentions Israel, Gaza or foreign aid; he has no Ballotpedia survey. As a challenger he has no votes or Israel legislation to weigh, and no pro-Israel PAC money. His issues page pledges to seek censure and the loss of committee assignments for any member “who supports terrorist organizations,” but that is a promise naming no member and no cause, not a step he has taken. Counter-cases: a 1, reading that pledge as a crackdown in waiting; or a 2, on his line that Israel “fights its own wars” and stands with America “when our interests align.”
