Thomas Holbrook

I · U.S. House, MO-4 · not rated

Position

Asked in iVoterGuide’s 2026 general-election questionnaire whether the U.S. relationship with Israel is important, he answered: “We should be able to talk to and trade with Israel. Beyond that, we need to not be so entangled in their affairs as that could lead us into a compromising position. This is true of all other countries as well.” No statement on Gaza, Palestinians or aid to Israel was found. A Warrensburg Libertarian making his third run in MO-4, he campaigns on civil liberties (against TikTok bans and Patriot Act-style surveillance), free trade without tariffs, ending the drug war and banning gerrymandering.

Why not rated

Not rated: his one statement on Israel is the 2026 iVoterGuide answer quoted above, which he says “is true of all other countries as well”; it says nothing on aid or weapons to Israel, Gaza or Palestinians. His campaign site (home, Who I Am, Where I Stand) and 2024 Ballotpedia survey never mention Israel, Gaza or Palestine; he says his family’s military history has shaped his view of foreign policy, and his site opposes “unconstitutional war” and “Military incursions into other countries for purposes of ‘liberation’”, naming no country. He left iVoterGuide’s 2024 questionnaire blank. Unrated until a position on aid or arms is stated.
