Thomas Loecken
I · U.S. House, KY-2 · Tier 3
Tier 3, “Pro-Israel, critical”
An independent who also ran in KY-2 in 2018, with no campaign website, Ballotpedia survey or published platform. Asked in iVoterGuide’s 2026 general-election questionnaire whether the U.S. relationship with Israel is important, Loecken answered: “To a degree, as in the United States needs to ensure that we are not providing resources (money, training, weapons) that will increase them to a country that is beyond their capabilities while leaving those within the U.S. to hunt for the same resources. Politicians should not take any Israel Pacs.”
A 3, on a thin record: one questionnaire answer. Asked by iVoterGuide in 2026 whether the U.S. relationship with Israel is important, Loecken answered “To a degree,” saying the U.S. “needs to ensure that we are not providing resources (money, training, weapons)” that raise Israel “beyond their capabilities” while Americans “hunt for the same resources,” and that “Politicians should not take any Israel Pacs.” That is a limit on money, training and weapons, about Israel by name and argued on cost, with no word on Gaza or Palestinians. Ballotpedia lists only a campaign Facebook page. Counter-cases: 3/4, if the limit is read as an end to aid; 2/3, if it is read as a complaint about priorities.
