Tom Bailey

I · U.S. House, NC-1 · not rated

Position

No position on Israel in his 2026 materials. In a 2018 iVoterGuide questionnaire, as the Libertarian nominee in NC-13, he answered “Disagree” to “The United States should help defend Israel from attack by its enemies,” and answered a question on fighting terrorism with “Bring the troops home.” A Vietnam veteran and longtime Libertarian ballot-access activist, he runs on restoring voting rights, limiting federal taxation and the Bill of Rights.

Why not rated

Not rated: his only answer on Israel is a one-word reply from 2018, given among non-interventionist answers eight years before this race. He left iVoterGuide’s whole questionnaire unanswered in 2024 and 2026, Israel question included (“Is the United States' relationship with Israel important, and if so why?”), and his 2026 Ballotpedia survey says nothing on foreign policy. Unrated until there is a current statement on Israel.
