Montana Republican who took office in January 2025 and has voted for every tracked Israel measure since: the January 2025 ICC-sanctions bill — “Israel has a right to defend herself without fear of prosecution,” he said, and a global court that neither country recognizes going after Americans unchecked “will not be tolerated” — the September 2026 college anti-boycott bill and the July 2026 State Department funding bill, and against the 2025 Greene and 2026 Massie cuts. His official site carries no other statement on Israel or Gaza.

A short, zero-daylight record with no leadership on the issue: none of his 27 sponsored bills and resolutions concerns Israel, and his Israel statements defend sanctioning the ICC over the Netanyahu and Gallant warrants and, in a May 2026 interview, say he is “100 percent behind Israel”. No statement of concern for Gaza's civilians during the genocide was found.
