Winston Jordan
I · U.S. House, NJ-12 · Tier 3/4
Tier 3/4, between “Pro-Israel, critical” and “Critical / conditions aid”
Independent (Get Money Out) candidate in NJ-12, an Army veteran and IT executive running a zero-donor campaign. He told WHYY (September 2026) that he supports the findings of international watchdog groups that classify the crisis in Gaza as genocide and ethnic cleansing — “I unequivocally condemn antisemitism while equally condemning the genocide in Gaza” — and on Iran backs “non-interventionism in the Middle East.” Asked in iVoterGuide’s 2026 general-election questionnaire whether the U.S. relationship with Israel is important, Jordan answered: “Winston views alliances—including with Israel—as out of balance when military aid undermines international law, human rights, and global peace. Under his ‘Healthcare, Not Bombs’ initiative, foreign relations are only important if centered on diplomacy and humanitarian stability rather than unconditional military subsidies. Winston prioritizes ending foreign entanglements and redirecting taxpayer billions away from global conflicts to fund urgent domestic needs like universal healthcare.”
A 3/4 on a thin record. He names the genocide in his own voice and endorses the ethnic-cleansing finding, which points toward 4, but beyond objecting to “unconditional military subsidies” in his 2026 iVoterGuide answer he has made no pledge on weapons or military aid that names Israel (his platform would “Condition Military Aid on Human Rights” and “Block exports to governments committing war crimes or severe repression,” for every country), and the word alone is not a step to withhold weapons. His platform keeps one frame, a “Two-State Solution on 1967 Borders” with “an end to settlement expansion,” but there is no right-to-defend language. Open to a clean 4 if he pledges to withhold weapons, and to a flat 3 if the record stays at two voter-guide answers and a general platform.
