Not every outlet is equally trustworthy on this subject, and pretending otherwise is itself a bias. This roster ranks sources deliberately and prefers the highest rung that actually covers a fact.

Narrowly: that AIPAC backing / Israel is a central issue in Collins's race against Graham Platner. The money itself (~$647K career, ~20% of her 2025 funds) is already carried by the s/u Zeteo piece, which I re-read and which does say 'AIPAC, accounted for nearly 20% of the money that Republican Senator Susan Collins raised last year' and that the AIPAC total 'far outpaces what she raised from small donors' — but Zeteo does NOT carry the 'central issue in the race' framing. That framing is what the JTA slot is doing.

The 'absolute stalwart' quote is not in the cited release. I fetched the April 21, 2026 RJC release twice and ran a site-restricted search of rjchq.org plus an open web search for the phrase. The release's entire Hinson blurb is electoral, not ideological: she 'defeated Democrat Rep. Abby Finkenauer to flip Iowa's 2nd Congressional District,' won 'a 16-point victory in 2024,' is 'the Trump-endorsed candidate to succeed retiring Senator Joni Ernst,' and 'has built a sizable campaign war chest.' The only Israel language is a collective line about all eight endorsees having 'stood firmly against the rising tide of antisemitism, in support of the US-Israel alliance.' RJC does use 'stalwart' in its separate March 12, 2026 House release — but about Tom Kean Jr. ('a reliable pro-Israel stalwart') and Ryan Mackenzie ('a stalwart on issues of national security'), not Hinson. Recommend either deleting the quoted phrase or finding its true origin before publication. Separately, the endorsement fact itself can be moved off the Zionist-org self-report: Roll Call carries it (replacement below), which is mainstream tier 4 rather than tier 5. Cited for: Read narrowly, the RJC endorsement. But the passage leads with a much stronger claim the RJC page cannot carry: that Fitzpatrick is the 'Lead author of the Stand with Israel Act (Aug 2024).'
DEFECT. Fitzpatrick is not the lead author of the Stand with Israel Act — Rep. Mike Lawler is the sponsor and Rep. Jared Moskowitz (D-FL-23) the Democratic co-lead. Lawler's own release is headlined "Congressman Lawler Introduces Bipartisan Stand With Israel Act" (https://lawler.house.gov/news/documentsingle.aspx?DocumentID=3156, Aug 19, 2024) and lists Fitzpatrick among the original cosponsors, quoting him: "Antisemitism must be met with unwavering and resolute rejection, whether from individuals or international institutions." The roster should read 'original cosponsor,' not 'lead author.' Separately, the RJC page DOES support the endorsement element — it is dated March 11-12, 2026 and says "Rep. Brian Fitzpatrick is one of just two incumbent Republicans defending a district carried by Kamala Harris in 2024" and "RJC has proudly supported Fitzpatrick in every one of his congressional runs" — so keep it as the endorsement citation, but it must not be the citation for the bill claim.
